As one of the leading players in the online poker industry, team UB boasts a who’s who of sponsored professionals who work as ambassadors for the site. Consisting of a balance of old school pros and internet young guns, Team UB represents one of the most impressive lineups of pros on any poker site.

Team UB is currently made up of 16 familiar poker faces with regular additions made to the quality lineup.

Phil Hellmuth Jr

By far the most notorious member of Team UB, Hellmuth is also the most accomplished. Hellmuth holds the record for the highest number of tournament wins at the World Series of Poker, with 11 titles to his name. Alongside his 11 World Series bracelets, Hellmuth also has an incredible 68 cashes and 41 final table appearances. Known in the poker world as “the poker brat”, Hellmuth is infamous for his blowups and regular outbursts at the tables.

Bryan Devonshire

Bryan “Devo” Devonshire is one of the newer breed of online poker players. Bryan used to work as a white water rafting guide before taking up poker full time. In his short career he has amassed over one million US dollars in tournament earnings and has built up a reputation as one of the most feared online poker pros. He is also a top poker coach, working as an instructor for Daniel Negreanu’s site PokerVT.

Tiffany Michelle

A face instantly recognized by poker fans everywhere, Tiffany Michelle burst onto the poker scene in 2007 when she worked as an on camera host for Pokernews. Since then she has hosted tournaments at the EPT, WSOP and WPT. However, her biggest moment came at the 2008 World Series of Poker where she outlasted almost 7000 players to become the highest placing female finisher in WSOP history when she secured a 17th place finish.

Annie Duke

Annie Duke is another one of the earlier members of Team UB. Always a big name in the poker world, she shot to main stream fame when she appeared on US TV Show, the Celebrity Apprentice where her rivalry with fellow contestant Joan Rivers made for great viewing. Annie has also appeared on the Colbert Report and various other TV shows as well as her own reality TV series titled the Best Damn Poker Show. While best known for her philanthropic work off the tables, Annie Duke is also an accomplished player on the felt with a WSOP bracelet and more than 30 other World Series cashes to her name.

Liv Boeree

Liv is another relative latecomer to the game of poker. Prior to appearing on reality TV show UltimatePoker Showdown, Liv had never played the game of poker. This colourful, self confessed “rock chick” studied astrophysics in the UK before learning from some of the game’s best on the Ultimate Poker showdown. Since then, she has had high amounts of success including winning the European Ladies Championships in May 2008.

Joe Sebok

Joe Sebok was a name always in the poker spotlight – his father Barry Greenstein is a living poker legend, one of the old guard who still competes at the highest level today. Since his introduction to poker he has amassed almost 2 million dollars in tournament earnings including wins at the Festa Al Lago Poker Tournament in Las Vegas and the Five Diamond World Poker Classic.

Scott Ian

Better known for his skills as a guitarist with heavy metal rock band Anthrax, Scott Ian is one of the most recent additions to the Ultimate Bet team.

Shawn Rice

A former pool hall owner who was friends with the infamous Amarillo Slim, Shawn Rice is a top MTT player with numerous results to his name including a second place finish at the 04 World Series of Poker.

Michael Binger

Michael Binger is one of UB’s brightest members. His poker winnings to date should come as no surprise as he has equally impressive results in other areas of life, boasting 2 undergraduate degrees, a Masters and a PhD in theoretical physics from Stanford University. Binger has succeeded at various forms of poker since he began playing live games in San Francisco while in grad school in 2001. Initially a limit holdem player, he has since become a master of no limit cash games and tournaments with a CV that includes a 3rd place finish in the WSOP main event as well as several other six figure wins.

Adam “Roothlus” Levy

Adam Levy is another young gun with a background in the card game Magic the Gathering, a game that was played by many of pokers top names prior to them learning how to play poker.

Billy Kopp

Kopp was signed by Ultimate Bet at the 2009 World Series of Poker where he managed to secure a 12th place finish in the main event out of almost 6,500 players. He has over 1.5million dollars in his fledgling poker career.

Brandon Cantu

This former real estate investor burst onto to the poker scene in 2006 when he bested Mark Ly heads-up in a $1500 buy in event at the 2006 World Series. He scooped three quarters of a million dollars for the win and set himself up with a platform to his now star studded career that has seen him make the final table of several high profile events. In 2009 he proved that 2006 was no fluke by securing his second World Series bracelet in a $1500 pot limit O8 event.

Gary “Debo34″ Debernardi

Gary Debonardi is a former carpenter who made the transition to online poker professional in less than two years of playing the game.

“Hollywood” Dave Stann

Dave Stann’s background is arguably the most interesting of the whole UB team. He is a member of Mensa who played professional blackjack for years as part of an international team. He was also one of the world’s best tournament blackjack players. He has also appeared on over 70 gambling shows, mainly about blackjack. He first learned to play poker by trading lessons with Team UBs Annie Duke. She taught him poker and he taught her blackjack. In his first year playing poker, he made an incredible $250,000!

Matt Graham

A former med student, Matt Graham has made a name for himself as one of poker’s brightest stars after capturing two World Series of Poker bracelets in as many years and earning almost 3 million dollars in that period.

Mark “Poker Ho” Kroon

Mark Kroon is one of Team UB’s senior members with over 20 years of playing experience.
