UB Rakeback Deductions

Anybody who signs up on UB via bestrakebacksite.org will be automatically registered to receive 30% rakeback on UB. However, it is important to note there are several deductions made from a players rakeback. Players based in the USA are hardest hit because depositing at UB is more complex from the USA than from anywhere else in the world as a result of the UIGEA bill.

Here is a quick summary of the deductions that are currently made by UB:

UB Bonus Deductions

Deposit bonuses and reload bonuses are both deducted from a players gross rake figure. The easiest way to demonstrate this is by using a simple example. If a player rakes $5000 in one calendar month, then his rakeback on UB for that month would be 30% of $5000 = $1500. Now if a player cleared a $1000 bonus in that time, his net rake figure would be $5000-$1000 = $4000. So he would receive 30% of $4000 = $1200. However, he would also have received $1000 in bonuses, so his total return would be $1200+$1000 = $2200. This would mean that he would have earned a rakeback equivalent of 44% overall. Obviously this is far more desirable than the 30% of $5000 deal!

Deposit Fee (aka Processing Fees) Deductions

These fees only apply to players from the USA. Players anywhere else in the world can deposit to and withdraw from UB free of charge.

Since the UIGEA was passed, the methods for depositing at online poker sites from the USA have become few and far between. Many of these methods such as money grams and certain eWallets have extremely high charges for using their services. Because of this, UB now deducts these fees from rakeback. Depending on the method used, fees may be as much as 10% of your deposit amount, though 5%-8% is a more standard charge.
Again, say for example you deposit $1000 and the cost is 10%. Your net rake will be calculated by subtracting the deposit fee from your total rake figure. So if you rake $1000 in a month, your rakeback will be arrived at by taking 30% of $1000 (gross rake) – $100 (deposit fee).

Credit Card Chargebacks

A charge back is when a person has a prior sale that was made on their credit card reversed. In gambling a chargeback occurs when a person claims a deposit at a poker or casino site was made without their knowledge or consent. A chargeback is successful if the credit card operator finds in favor of the credit card holder. Any chargebacks that are made on a UB account are completely deducted from gross rake.

The deductions listed above are the current rakeback deductions made by UB. We will update this list accordingly to keep our player informed about any and all deductions that are incorporated by UB.
